Celebration happening at Jackson’s Ella Sharp Park

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Save Our Youth of Jackson is marking its 20th anniversary, and there will be a magic show, games, bounce house, face painting and local vendors to celebrate.

It’s all happening this Saturday, July 6, from 12-4 p.m. at Ella Sharp Park. That’s across the street from the Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson.

The organization strives to “maximize the potential of all K-12 youth and 18-to-24 young adults through educational, physical, cultural, collaborative and innovative programs.”

Saturday’s event promises to be a fun and relaxing day outside for family and friends. The event is open to the public.
