Belhaven University earns top Military Friendly School Award

JACKSON, Miss, ( WJTV ) – Leaders with Belhaven University announced that the college has earned the 2024-2025 Military Friendly School designation for its long history of supporting the U.S. Military in their pursuit of higher education.

More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2024-2025 survey, and 537 schools earned awards level designations in Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Belhaven University was one of only 243 institutions selected for “Gold” award status for their leading practices, outcomes, and effective programs.

According to officials, institutions were selected based on student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, persistence, and loan default rates for all students.

Belhaven University’s Adult and Graduate programs were recognized for their flexible formats, incentives, and financial aid options for military. Belhaven University Online was also acknowledged for its mobility, giving military the option to attend class from anywhere in the world.
