Salvation Army to host 2024 Back 2 School Bash

JACKSON, Miss ( WJTV ) – The Salvation Army of Jackson will partner with Together We Care and The Bee Inspired Foundation to host a Back 2 School Bash on Saturday, July 20.

The event will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 570 E. Beasley Road in Jackson

“We are thrilled to host our Back 2 School Bash and to provide bags filled with essential school supplies to our community,” said Eldridge Walker, Community Center Director for The Salvation Army Jackson. “This event is not only about celebrating the new school year but also about supporting our students and families as they prepare for the academic journey ahead.”

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure their free school supplies, as they will be available until they run out. Children must be present to receive a bag of school supplies. The event is free and open to the public.
