Sioux City-Based Community College Settles Suit With Human Trafficking Claims
Sioux City, Iowa — The board of a Sioux City-based community college has accepted a settlement with international students who accused the school of human trafficking. Western Iowa Tech (WIT) Community College in Sioux City will pay $2.3 million to settle a lawsuit involving ten students from Brazil.
