Omaha homeless organization, mayor say city’s coordinator making an impact
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Since December 2022, homeless services coordinator Tamara Dwyer has been the city’s go-to for helping with those who don’t have a shelter. “I think she has done a fantastic job,” said Mayor Jean Stothert earlier this week. “I’ve told everybody this — her history — is she had a period of time she was homeless. Fremont man sentenced in rollover death
A Fremont man was sentenced Tuesday for a 2023 rollover accident that resulted in another man’s death. Bradley R. Drews, 39, entered a plea of no contest to a first-degree misdemeanor charge of motor vehicle homicide for the accident that claimed the life of Kyle T. Shipman, 37, also of Fremont.
