Sioux City, Iowa — The board of a Sioux City-based community college has accepted a settlement with international students who accused the school of human trafficking. Western Iowa Tech (WIT) Community College in Sioux City will pay $2.3 million to settle a lawsuit involving ten students from Brazil. Gordon-Rushville crews battling fires as area experiences very high fire danger
RUSHVILLE, Neb. - Firefighters in the Gordon-Rushville area are battling two fires amidst very high fire danger conditions. One of the fires is located north of Rushville, approximately one mile south of Hands of Faith, according to Gordon Fire Chief Rich Haller. Haller said that they received a mutual aid call to help and have sent a couple of grass rigs and a tanker to the scene.
