Belmar, NJ police release full video of wild surfer beach-badge arrest
BELMAR — Newly released body cam footage shows the events that led to the arrest of a surfer on the beach Tuesday as seen in a video gone viral. The initial video posted on social media showed surfer Liam Mahoney, of Junction City, California, handcuffed on the beach with Belmar police officers. He scuffles with the officers and winds up face down in the sand as a woman screams at the officers about Mahoney having a beach badge.
Missing Dog: Nemo Was Last Seen by the Asbury Circle
NEPTUNE TOWNSHIP - Nemo, a male Boston Terrier, was last seen on Asbury Avenue, possibly being picked up by a car, on 8/23/24 around 12 or 1:00 PM. He was not picked up by his owner nor has his owner been contacted. Nemo was not wearing a collar or harness when he got loose. Nemo is black/white and brindle with a black spot on his head. Robbinsville Council Approves Purchases of Vehicles, Gear to Keep Community Safe
ROBBINSVILLE, NJ - The Robbinsville Township Council has authorized $275,683.34 in spending to outfit both the Robbinsville Police Department and the Robbinsville Fire Department with vehicles, equipment, and gear their chiefs have deemed necessary to help keep the community safe. In one resolution, the purchase of two 2024 Ford Expedition XL 4x4 with emergency equipment upfitting was authorized from Ciocca Ford of Flemington. Man dies after dispute leads to stabbing on Bronx subway
A man has died after being stabbed on the subway in the Bronx.It happened on a northbound 2 train at 149th Street and 3rd Avenue just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
