    Vote for top RB in Jackson area entering 2024 Tennessee high school football season

    Who is the Jackson area's best running back entering the 2024 Tennessee high school football season? The Jackson Sun sought to find out with its definitive ranking of the 10 best RBs in the area .

    Now it's your turn to vote.

    Make your selection of the area's best RB and be sure to read all of our preview coverage with the TSSAA season beginning next month.

    Fans are able to vote once per hour. The poll will close at 5 p.m., Friday.

    Here are the nominees.

    Peyton Barham, Chester County, 6-foot, 192 pounds, Senior: After stepping into the position following an injury, Barham totaled 1,001 yards on 200 carries with 13 touchdowns for the Eagles.

    Caden Greenhill, Crockett County, 6-foot, 175 pounds, Senior: Greenhill ran for 1,369 yards and 21 touchdowns and caught nine passes for 253 yards for a TD in 2023.

    Deuce Lawrence, Jackson Christian, 6-1, 190 pounds, Sophomore: Lawrence totaled 1,019 on the ground and eight rushing touchdowns for the Eagles.

    Ja’Bari Livingston, Dyer County, 5-8, 225 pounds, Senior: Livingston rushed for 1,426 yards and 21 touchdowns last season for Dyer County.

    Jayden Milton, West Carroll, 5-10, 200 pounds, Senior: Milton totaled 1,803 yards on 221 carries and 22 touchdowns for the War Eagles last season.

    Jacob Saunders, Hardin County, 5-11, 175 pounds, Senior: Saunders rushed for 1,905 yards on 134 carries, totaled 305 receiving yards and 20 total touchdowns for the Tigers. He averaged 92.7 rushing yards per game and rushed for over 100 yards four times.

    Noah Spencer, USJ, 6-1, 190 pounds, Senior: Spencer ran for 1,493 yards on 224 carries and 19 touchdowns while racking up 219 receiving yards.

    Lekhy Thompkins, TCA, 6-2, 220 pounds, Junior: Thompkins put up big numbers for the Lions last season with 1,540 rushing yards on 273 carries and 25 touchdowns. He averaged 140 rushing yards per game and gained more than 100 yards in a game seven times last season.

    Brady Warbritton Huntingdon, 5-9, 175 pounds, Senior: As a wingback, Warbritton scored 16 touchdowns with 968 rushing yards and had 294 receiving yards with four touchdowns for the Mustangs last season.

    Kemonte Williams, Haywood, 5-foot-10, 205 pounds, Senior: Williams rushed for 1,889 yards on 198 attempts and 29 touchdowns for the Tomcats last season. He averaged 145.3 yards per game and rushed for over 100 yards nine times in 2023.
