Jacksonville, AL – Get ready for an exciting day of cheerleading at Jacksonville State University! On Thursday, July 11th, starting at 9:30 AM, JSU Cheerleading will host a series of camps at 700 Pelham Road North, Jacksonville, AL, tailored for young cheerleaders from kindergarten through 9th grade.

The day kicks off with a Youth Camp for kindergarten through 6th grade, running from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. For just $30, participants will engage in fun and energetic activities, learning basic cheerleading techniques and routines. This camp is a fantastic opportunity for young children to develop their skills, make new friends, and experience the joy of cheerleading in a supportive environment.

In the afternoon, a Stunt Clinic will be held for students in 7th through 9th grade, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This clinic, costing $40, will focus on more advanced cheerleading skills, including stunts and tumbling. It’s an excellent chance for middle schoolers to enhance their abilities and prepare for more competitive cheerleading.

Registration for both camps is by email only, and payment is cash only at the door. To register, contact Brett Langston at mlangston@jsu.edu .
