    Pulaski County deputies arrest Jacksonville man in connection with Monday shooting

    PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. – Pulaski County deputies said they have arrested a Jacksonville man in connection with a Monday shooting.

    Officials with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said that 32-year-old Dakota Turner was arrested for his involvement in a shooting on Wooten Road in North Little Rock.

    Pulaski County deputies respond to shooting south of Jacksonville

    Deputies said that a man was injured in the shooting and taken to a local hospital for treatment. Officials have not released the victim’s condition or a motive in the shooting.

    Turner is facing charges of first-degree battery, possession of a firearm by certain persons, and obstructing governmental operations.

    Turner is currently being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility without bond.
