Julio Foolio passed away last week, but after a recent post, fans are starting to believe he faked his death. On Sunday (June 30), Foolio’s team uploaded a No Jumper interview featuring the late rapper to his Instagram.

The video had a simple message for his fans and his haters, saying, “I’ll Never Die I’m a DemiGod,” with a devil emoji attached. In the clip, Adam22 asks him what does he mean when he calls himself a “demigod,” to which the Jacksonville artist says that he got it from playing PlayStation God of War and asserts that “I’m a demigod, they can’t get me.” Due to the circumstances, it is likely that his account has been hacked.

The next day (July 2), Foolio’s page uploaded a clip depicting the “When I See You” artist as the Undertaker, specifically when the WWE wrestler famously plays dead before rising again. The brief video included a caption telling his fans that “my grandma does voodoo,” seemingly implying that he will return from the dead or that he can’t be killed.

His fans were equally spooked and confused by the combination of videos. Some of them demanded that they receive an answer to his whereabouts if he isn’t dead. “Bro confusing everybody, like r u dead or whatttttt?” one person typed. “I won’t believe he’s dead until I see a funeral,” another account chimed in. “My ni**a rebooted or expired, which one?” a subsequent fan quipped. “Ian see no autopsy report or balloon release,” an additional fan wrote.

The Florida musician was shot and killed on Monday (June 24) while celebrating his 26th birthday in Tampa. Foolio was reportedly staying at a Holiday Inn after being kicked out of an AirBnb. According to his attorney, Lewis Fusco, the artist was “ambushed” in the parking lot, resulting in his death. Prior to the party, the rapper, né Charles Jones, promoted the party’s address and whereabouts on his IG Story.

“Mr. Jones had been in Tampa to celebrate his birthday over the weekend,” Fusco said in a statement. “Law enforcement reports indicate that he initially stayed at an Airbnb but was asked to leave due to exceeding occupancy limits. He subsequently relocated to the Holiday Inn, where he was involved in an incident in the hotel parking lot and reportedly ambushed.”
