NFL fans have jokes about Jacksonville Jaguars teaser video for throwback uniforms

The NFL is a mastermind at merchandising.  The advent of different uniforms like the color rush and a throwback uniforms in addition to the traditional home and away uniforms means more jersey sales and lots of excitement for fans.

Hopefully, that is the case for the Jacksonville Jaguars.  The team released a teaser video on social media announcing the long-awaited news of throwback uniforms slated to drop on July 18.

Fans had plenty of jokes about the news.  Many of the jokes centered around the fact that the Jacksonville Jaguars came into existence in 1995 so the franchise may not be old enough to call it a throwback uniform.

Others joked that teasing a uniform is unnecessary, share it already.

All jokes aside, Jaguars fans on social media are embracing the throwback uniform particularly if it resembles the 1990s Jaguars look, and the video seemingly shows that to be the case.  They are so passionate about returning to that look that many want it to be the permanent uniform.
