Series recap: The Jumbo Shrimp split a six-game series on the road against the Norfolk Tides, an unusual series that included two doubleheaders, five one-run games and two walk-off defeats. They're currently fourth in the International League East.

Highlight : One run was all it took on Wednesday. Troy Johnston tripled, Griffin Conine followed up with an RBI single and the Jumbo Shrimp went on to beat Norfolk 1-0.

Crustacean sensation: Acquired July 25 in a trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Deyvison De Los Santos is off to a nice start with the Jumbo Shrimp. He homered in his team debut on Saturday and went 2 for 5 with an RBI on Sunday. For the minor league season as a whole, the 21-year-old third baseman bats .326 with 29 homers, 86 RBI and a 1.015 OPS.

On deck: The Jumbo Shrimp have a difficult assignment against Lehigh Valley. The IronPigs, Triple-A affiliates of the similarly strong Philadelphia Phillies, are leading the International League East standings in the second half. Lehigh Valley's top-rated prospect is right-handed pitcher Mick Abel, although he has struggled (3-7, 6.53 ERA) in 2024.

Ballpark fun : With the Jumbo Shrimp back in town, it's another active week at 121 Financial Ballpark. Items on the schedule include Tuesday's return of Dog Day, where dogs can accompany ticket-purchasing people to the game; Shower Beer Night on Wednesday, when lucky (?) fans can get a free beer if they drink it while getting blasted by a hose; and Ginger Reveal Night on Thursday, with some fans dyeing their hair red at the park.

Probable pitchers Tuesday: To be announced.
