Jaguars Adding Another Former Clemson Standout

The Jacksonville Jaguars are reportedly adding another former Clemson standout to their team.

Tanner Muse is signing with the Jaguars today, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Of course, Muse will join a trio of other former Tigers – quarterback Trevor Lawrence, running back Travis Etienne and offensive lineman Tyler Shatley – in Jacksonville.

A special teams standout and versatile defensive piece, Muse has also spent time with the Las Vegas Raiders, Seattle Seahawks, Pittsburgh Steelers and most recently the Los Angeles Chargers.

For the Chargers in 2023, Muse appeared in 10 games and posted two tackles.

A third-round pick of the Raiders in 2020, Muse has played in 33 career regular season games (one start) and has 22 total tackles (15 solo) and one pass defended in his NFL career to date.

A two-time national champion at Clemson, Muse finished his career as a Tiger credited with 237 career tackles (10.5 for loss), 15 passes broken up, 4.0 sacks, seven interceptions for 102 yards (including a 64-yard return for a touchdown), a forced fumble and a 63-yard fumble return for a touchdown over 59 career games (39 starts).
