There was a lot of promise for the 2023 NFL Draft pick of linebacker Ventrell Miller, who played just up the road in Gainesville for the Florida Gators. He was the No. 121 overall pick last year but did not play a single game last season.
Miller suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon before the season started, and was due to play a big role this season as he recovered, on both defense and special teams. The Jaguars' linebacker room was a bit thin in the depth department with his injury , and they may head right back in that direction.
During his road to recovery, which was going extremely well from everything we have heard from head coach Doug Pederson, Miller ended up suffering a setback. Well, that's how it looks.
According to several writers and reporters on site in Jacksonville, Florida, Miller was seen at camp on Saturday with a cast on his left arm, which is a completely different injury than the previous one he suffered.
You hate to see this, especially for a guy still so young and a guy with so much potential, and even more so for a guy that has yet to play in an NFL regular season game, just two preseason games. We have yet to hear what the official word is on the injury but will update you when we figure that out.
