Many local races will be decided in the Aug. 20 primaries (way before November), and in-person, early voting begins TODAY in Duval and Nassau counties; tomorrow in Clay and Baker; and on Saturday in St. Johns. (It already started on Monday in Putnam County for those who chose to brave Hurricane Debby.)

Not sure which ovals to mark? We got you. Select your county’s guide, which includes candidate comparisons for every race, from local city council, school board and judges all the way up to U.S. Senate:

If you plan to vote by mail in the primary, the state deadline to request a mail ballot is tomorrow . Duval voters can go here to find voter information, including sample ballots and the status of your registration.

All ballots must be returned with your county’s supervisor of elections office or cast in person no later than 7 p.m. on Aug. 20.
