    Pablo Vindel: en la noche prevalece un corazón lleno

    Crisp-Ellert Art Museum | St. Augustine

    Beginning Friday, an exhibition of new works by Spanish artist Pablo Vindel is on view at Flagler College’s Crisp-Ellert Art Museum. The mixed-media exhibition, en la noche prevalece un corazón lleno (loosely translated: in the night a full heart prevails ) , is an homage to familial relationships, exploring the grief and acceptance that follows loss. It’s on view through Nov. 26. Vindel will lead a walkthrough of the exhibit on Friday from 5 p.m-8 p.m. It’s free to attend. More info .

    Wine Down Fest

    Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing | LaVilla

    The group of creatives and cultural entrepreneurs behind the intimate Murray Hill arts-and-music gatherings, Wine Down Wednesday, are hosting their inaugural Wine Down Fest on Saturday at the newly opened Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing Park. Vendors, wine and food will be on offer, with a lineup of regional hip-hop and R&B acts and DJs, including popular Orlando emcee Wahid , Duval hip-hop collective L.O.V.E. Culture , Atlanta’s Wade Brown, Jacksonville’s Kale That Raps and more. Noon-8 p.m. General admission is free. VIP upgrades are available. Tickets and more info .

    Clarice Assad and João Luiz

    St. Paul’s By-the-Sea | Jacksonville Beach

    The Beaches Fine Arts Series returns for its 52nd season with two world-renowned composers and musicians, the singer-pianist Clarice Assad and guitarist João Luiz. The Brazilian music experts perform at St. Paul’s By-the-Sea Episcopal Church. Works by visual artist LuAnn Dunkinson will be on view at the show and during a reception following the concert. 4 p.m. (doors open at 3:15 p.m.). As all Beaches Fine Arts Series concerts have been since 1972, it’s free to attend. More info .
