The San Diego Comic Convention (Comic-Con International) is in full swing. It will go on through the weekend at the San Diego Convention Center. It is right off of the water in San Diego Bay. From cosplay costumes of all kinds to seeing people's favorite stars and actors, this Comic-Con is one of the most anticipated.

Unlike other festivals or gatherings, Comic-Con is a 24-hour adventure with something going on almost all the time. There are late-night activities, shows, and meetings that are fun and exciting to see. There are games, anime fun, and other types of activities that adults and young people alike love. There are also exciting panels with some of the best gamers, developers, and creators ready to share and interact with their passionate players and followers. During the day there are celebrity panels, autograph signings, meet and greets, movies, as well as kid activities.

With so many people attending Comic-Con, it's important to create a safe environment. Many people dress up as their favorite character, and it's easy to see how some people may get carried away with their outfits. The convention actually has costume prop officers that check each participant's costume. There are 2 stations as well as roving officers making sure costumes and accessories are appropriate and safe.

If you are in the convention and forget to get your costume checked, they will make you go to a check station. With so many consumers having some sort of weaponry, organizers need to make sure the fake weapons are safe. No sharp weapons, appropriate costumes, and no projectile shooting devices are the main things they look for.

This has been called the nerds paradise and the Comic-Con craze seems to be as strong as ever.
