The Oakland A's and the New York Yankees are the only teams in major league baseball history to win three World Series in a row. That's why it's fitting that the last homestand for the A's in Oakland will include the famed Yankees along with the Texas Rangers. The last homestand starts on September 20 with New York, and then the final three games will be with Texas. The last game on Thursday, September 26th, is sold out, but tickets are still available for the other five games.

In a move that was long overdue, owner John Fisher has finally shown a pulse. It was told to the media that in the last series against Texas, they would have various fan giveaways.

On September 20 versus the Yankees, fans who arrive early will get a Rickey Henderson retro bobblehead doll and the treehouse will have a happy hour. On September 21, there will be a special post-game drone and fireworks show.

On Sunday September 22nd, all kids 14 and under will be admitted free with a paying adult ticket and after the game kids will be allowed on the field to run the bases.

On September 24, the A's will be offering $2 tickets and free parking, plus Bark at the Park. Bark at the Park is a popular game where fans get to bring their dogs (on leash; no exceptions). Fans usually bring lots of water and snacks. For early arriving fans to the 6:05 pm game, there will be special drink offers between 4-6 pm. They will also have a commemorative ticket for the last series in Oakland.

On September 25, the team said they would donate $10 for every ticket sold to the Boys and Girls Club of Oakland. They will also open the gates early for fans to get in on seeing as much batting practice as they'd like. A commemorative ticket will also be available for the fans

On the last game with Texas on September 26, the first 25,000 fans will get a replica of the Oakland Coliseum. Parking on that day will open at 8 am and gates will open at 9:37 am for the 12:37 pm game and commemorative tickets will again be given.

With all of the emotions that were seen at the end of the Bay Bridge Series, this last homestand will be a rollercoaster of emotions for fans all over MLB, and a heartbreaking day for the fans of the Oakland A's.
