Rod Stewart Answers Questions About His Health

When 79 year old music icon Rod Stewart said that his days were numbered, in true social media fashion, everyone thought the worst. Along with several recent cancelled shows many rumors started. There was even confusion whether he had strept throat or covid-19 which lead fans to wonder.

The hard-partying rocker doused the flames and said he was just making a statement that he knew about his mortality and that he was going to party right until the end. For better or for worse, Stewart wanted the world to know that he was going to live the way he chooses to and that he'll not have a regret about it.

He had cancelled most of his concerts for August, and his next concert is on September 7 at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. Stewart has been busy as he just sold his beachfront Malibu mansion for $29.5 million. Reports have Stewart still being in love with Southern California while his wife who is 26 years his junior, longing to be back in the UK.

He did an interview with People Magazine explaining his life, including what he and his bandmates do on the road. Stewart also told the Sun, “I’m aware that my days are numbered, but I’ve got no fear. We have all got to pass on at some point, so we are all in the same basket. I am going to be enjoying myself for these last few years as much as I can.”
