Transforming Southern California's Traffic with Air Taxis by 2026

The traffic in Southern California is some of the worst in the country. There never seems to be anywhere that doesn't have bad congestion. The only place to go is up. And that's exactly what Los Angeles and air taxi companies want.

Joby Aviation is trying to create flying vehicles that can pretty much become the Ubers of the future. The all electric vehicles and smooth to ride in and quiet and obviously fuel efficient. Archer Aviation is also trying to do the same with their electric vehicles that cut travel time through Southern California to 10 to 20 minutes. Archer hopes that they will be going fool steam 2026.

Joby feels that due to the immense size of parts of Southern California cities, air travel will greatly reduce emissions and time spent on the road in traffic. They feel that they will be saving people money while creating a smaller footprint.
