The saga of the Oakland A's move to Las Vegas has been a very emotional topic online and in person, especially in the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area. Oakland fans are seething with what has been done to their sports teams. Celebrities like Tom Hanks and even some players have talked about how bad a move it is. The band Green Day has also chimed in, and it looks like everyone isn't happy about it.

Green Day's frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong, said some derogatory things about the move during a concert in San Francisco on September 20, and some people in Las Vegas weren't too happy. When talking about Las Vegas, he said, “the worst ****hole in America.”.

Armstrong is an Oakland native, and like most in the area, owner John Fisher is enemy #1, and the move to Las Vegas is very much hated. Several Las Vegas radio stations were sick of the negativity and wanted to do something about it.

Two major radio stations in Vegas, KOMP 92.3 and another station X107.5, have taken all Green Day music out of their play lists and libraries and will no longer play their music. Fans of the stations were in favor of the changes and supported the radio stations fully.
