    2 juveniles killed, 6 others injured in rollover crash near Jamestown

    JAMESTOWN, ND ( KXNET ) — A vehicle filled with seven children and one adult, all from the Cleveland, ND area, crashed near Jamestown Monday afternoon with deadly consequences.

    Two children were killed in the incident and the remaining five youths and one adult were all injured.

    According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a Chevy Suburban driven by a 30-year-old woman, was heading east on I-94 near Jamestown when she apparently lost control after being passed by a semi-truck.

    The Chevy ran off the roadway, rolled and came to rest on its side in standing water.

    A seven-year-old and a 10-year-old were pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.

    All other occupants were transported to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center. One passenger was then life-flighted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. The driver was also taken to Sanford Hospital in Fargo.

    The children range in age from 5 to 11-years old.

    The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
