Jamestown man arrested after police chase

A Jamestown man is being held without bail after hitting two police cars in a chase.

It started just after midnight on Sunday.

34-year-old Nicholas Brown allegedly sped away from officers after they tried to pull him over and almost hit some officers with his car.

Police said the chase ended when Brown hit a State Police cruiser, a parked vehicle and then a Jamestown police car head-on.

Brown allegedly fought with officers as they tried to arrest him.

He's facing the following charges:

• Three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment
• Second-degree reckless endangerment
• Third-degree unlawful fleeing from police in a motor vehicle
• Secon-degree criminal mischief
• Resisting arrest
