Salmonbellies Leapfrog Into Second Place
The New Westminster Salmonbellies were able to leapfrog over two other teams into second place with a convincing 17-4 win over the Coquitlam Adanacs on Thursday night. The Salmonbellies jumped over the Langley Thunder and Maple Ridge Burrards for second place in the tight WLA playoff race. Coquitlam’s playoff chances are fading quickly. They drop to 6-10-1 with one game left in the regular season.
