    RI's Emily Kallfelz will be competing in the Olympics. How to watch

    Rowing may very well be in Emily Kallfelz's blood. Both her parents competed while attending Cornell, now the Princeton grad is on her way to representing her family in the sport on the world on the world-class level.

    Kallfelz, from Jamestown , is one of s everal Rhode Islanders competing in the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Team USA is sending nearly 600 athletes to the games this summer.

    Here's what to know about Kallfelz and how to watch her compete.

    Who is Emily Kallfelz?

    Like her parents, Kallfelz competed on the collegiate level, becoming a four-time Ivy League champion at Princeton and named U.S. Rowing’s U23 Athlete of the Year in 2018 and 2019.

    She’s competed in quadruple sculls at the last two world championship regattas, booking a pair of top-11 finishes with Team USA. Kallfelz could compete in women’s four or women’s eight at the upcoming games.

    Where and when to watch her

    You can stream the rowing events live on the official 2024 Paris Olympics website.

    Kallfelz has the potential to appear in two different rowing events. The women's four is scheduled for July 28 (6:30 a.m.), July 30 (5:30 a.m.) and the medal race will be on Aug. 1 (4:54 a.m.). The women's eight will be July 29 (6 a.m.) Aug. 1 (4:10 a.m.), with the medal race on Aug. 3 (4:50 a.m.).
