    Fentress County woman last seen in Jamestown found safe

    JAMESTOWN, Tenn. (WATE) — A woman missing from Fentress County who was the focus of a Silver Alert has been found safe, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

    Around 5:20 p.m. Friday, the TBI issued a Silver Alert for Kathleen Southward. Just over an hour later, the TBI shared an update that Southward was found safe in Fentress County.

    Previously, Southward, 75, was last seen on Friday, July 19, in the area of Eagle Bluff in Jamestown. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said she is 5’6″, 180 lbs., with hazel eyes and gray hair. She was last seen wearing black shorts, possibly blue shoes and a top of an unknown color according to the TBI.

    Anyone who had information about her whereabouts was asked to call the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office at (931) 752-0911 or TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
