Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton senior Ryan Kronbach highlighted a strong week for the Bulldogs at the MSHSL Class A track and field meet by claiming podium finishes in three of his competitions with junior Lilly Strauss joining him on the podium in the long jump.

Kronbach’s top finish came in the triple jump where he posted a mark of 44 feet and 3.25 inches to finish fourth in the state. He then posted a PR clear of 6’4” in the high jump to earn fifth before closing out an incredible weekend by claiming eighth in the long jump with a leap of 20’11.75”.

Strauss meanwhile claimed ninth in the long jump with a top mark of 16’10.25” to earn a place on the podium. Makenzie Westphal competed in the prelims of the 800m run and posted a time of 2:32.29 to finish 15th while also running alongside Naveah Weimert, Katelyn Olson, and Strauss in the 4x200m relay race to finish 16th with a time of 1:49.50.
