Driver in Fatal Hit-And-Run Arrested in Southwest Missouri
A southwest Missouri man has been arrested in connection to a fatal hit-and-run. The accident occurred on Friday evening when 60-year-old Sheldonna Wood was working in her yard near Loma Linda, Missouri, along the Missouri/Oklahoma border. A Dodge Dakota pickup left the roadway and struck Wood, then fled the scene. Wood was pronounced dead on the scene. Witnesses to the accident were able to give a description of the vehicle and law enforcement issued a BOLO for the truck.
