Teenager dead following York motorcycle crash, police say
YORK, Maine — A 17-year-old has died after the motorcycle they were operating crashed along Maine State Route 91 in York. The York Police Department said that at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday, the town's Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call about the crash on Cider Hill Road, which is part of Route 91.

Maine teen found not guilty of planning mass shooting at South Portland High School
A 17-year-old boy was found not guilty of plotting a mass shooting at South Portland High School, according to the Press Herald. The teen was charged with criminal solicitation for murder and arson. He was accused of making threats and trying to recruit another person to commit mass murder at South Portland High School last spring.
