The Top 20 HS Football Prospects in 2025 - Georgia & Texas Dominate
Here's a look at the top 20 high school football prospeects in all of the land in the class of 2025. As one would expect, Georgia and Texas are well represented, accounting for over half the field. What might come as a surprise is the general "lack" of elite talent in football hotbeds California and Florida. Annually, these two states produce some of the finest talent in the country. Though, that's not the case with the class of 2025. In fact, The Golden State failed to land a player on this list, while Florida has "just" two. Without further adieu, the top 20 high school football players in America. Today, we begin with no. 16 - 20.
Prime Time Gators?
There's one in every crowd. Steve Rivera can attest to that. Steve Who? Right. Steve Who. In one of the more bizzare predictions of the entire off-season, Rivera, an enterprising journalist for "The Wright Way Network" - that bastion of elite sports journalism - predicts Coach Prime will replace Billy Napier as the next head coach at Florida.
The Quitting Kind: Rush Propst's Surprising Resignation
That thud you heard recently in East Central Alabama was the other shoe dropping in the Rush Propst resignation saga. With Rush, there’s always more. Nothing is ever quite as it seems. Pell City schools superintendent Dr. James Martin called a special board of education meeting on April 24 to discuss the non-renewal of football coach Rush Propst's contract.
A Rush To Resign
Pell City, AL - The tumultuous career of high school football coaching legend Rush Propst has taken yet another controversial turn. I’ll pause for dramatic effect. This is what Rush Propst does. This is what Rush Propst is. In like a lion. Out like a thundering herd of rabid elephants. Always under a cloud of accusation and suspicion. One salacious scandal after another. At Hoover, it was grade fixing, ineligible players and that “other family,” that brought Propst House of Cards tumbling down.
Saban Caught Cheating?
Explosive allegations details salacious romp with coaching legends daughter Kristen. Following allegations earlier this week from a Houston man claiming a recent tryst with Nick Saban's daughter-Kristen Saban (Setas) caused the coaching legends daughter to delete her social media account on "X" formerly known as Twitter. James Taylor, a former contestant on "The Bachelorette" claims he was misled by Kristen Saban prior to his trip to see her in Alabama, claiming she didnt bother telling him she was still marrried until the two of them were on their way back to the Airport where he was catching a flight back home to Houston, Tx. The alleged affair came to light after a recent social media post from Taylor claiming he was being blackmailed and decided to come clean. Saban, a recently divorced single mother was still married at rhe time according to Taylor. "I'll get right to the point," Taylor began. "Around 2 months ago I flew out to Birmingham to see Kristen Saban, yes Nick Saban’s daughter. She picked me up and we drove to Tuscaloosa." Taylor continued. "Three days later she tells me she’s still married and living with her husband. I was shocked and pissed that this wasn’t made known to me before I came to visit. I verbalized that to Kristen. She said she thought it was respectful to tell me in person… I told her this isn’t a break up. This can and should be done on the phone. So she drives me back to BHam and I fly home to Houston. We had a falling out and don’t speak. So why am I posting this? Someone got these pictures and is blackmaiiling me saying if I don’t pay them X amount of money they’ll send these pics to TMZ and the news etc and tell them I’m a cheater and a home-wrecker goin to meet married women and a liar etc… they claim there are more pics and I wouldn’t believe them except for the fact that they knew we went to innisfree one night and told me exactly where we were in there and what we were wearing. Tomorrow’s my deadline to decide so I started consolidating some cash to pay, I thought about doing nothing and calling his / her bluff… I thought about a lot but decided to go the Eminem route and call myself out on my terms with the truth instead of letting someone else twist it. The truth is I did NOT know that when I flew there. I hope there are no more pictures posted because what’s the point now? (Nick apparently knows about these because she got a call from him on the way back to Birmingham and I could hear him PISSED. Which ngl as an Aggie made me chuckle a little bit when she told me it was about us and people taking pictures - but it also made me feel bad for her cuz she loves her dad that’s for sure and she was instantly sad). I also hope she’s not under this same pressure from this same person. And I hope she has the best life - I don’t wish a single bad thing on Kristen ever." What are your thoughts? The Falcons Draft Day Dilemma
Atlanta- With the eighth pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. Why? That’s the question so many are asking. The Falcons signed Vagabond QB Kirk Cousins for 4 years & a guaranteed 180 million dollars.
NFL Draft's Greatest Can't Miss Prospects
With the NFL Draft beginning this weekend, there’s very little drama surrounding the top pick as everyone expects the Chicago Bears to take USC QB Caleb Williams with the no.1 overall pick. Just three years after drafting Ohio St. QB Justin Fields in the first round, the Bears, who traded Fields to Pittsburgh, have shifted their focus to Williams as the face of the franchise.
Portal Problems: Coach Prime's Risky Rebuild
Boulder- Live by the portal. Die by the portal. Last season, Colorado’s first year head coach, Deion Sanders managed to do both. As the ink was still drying on his 5 year $29 million dollar contract, Sanders, or "Coach Prime" as he's more widely known these days served notice. “I’m coming and when I get here there’s going to be change," he said in a made for TV moment as he addressed his new team for the very first time. He continued. “So I want yall to get ready. Go ahead and jump in the portal and do whatever you gone get done because the more of you that jump in the more room you make."
