About The Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory

Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory is one of the region’s most popular attractions, having been visited by more than 4 million visitors. It's easy to find: just drive down Main Street in Downtown Louisville and look for The Big Bat. Fun fact: the bat in front of the entrance is the world's largest baseball bat! It's a landmark of Downtown Derby City - and for good reason.

The leadership of the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory is also special. H&B’s current President and CEO, John A. Hillerich IV, is the great-grandson of Bud Hillerich, the baseball fan who introduced the family business to baseball back in the 1800s. While Wilson Sporting Goods purchased the Louisville Slugger Brand from H&B in 2015, the family-owned H&B still owns and operations the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory and the production facility. All Louisville Slugger bats are still produced in Louisville, the city that the Hillerich family first arrived to in1856.
