    About The National Corvette Museum

The National Corvette Museum opened in 1994 as an educational tribute to America’s sports car. The Museum is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, known worldwide as the home of the Corvette.

Did you know that every Corvette in the world since 1981 has been assembled at the General Motors Bowling Green Assembly Plant? It's located just ¼ mile from the National Corvette Museum. Corvettes are Kentucky Proud!

While what's housed on the inside is the most impressive part of the experience, the exterior is still of note. The award-winning architectural design features sweeping lines inspired by the body of the Corvette itself. The only car museum of its kind, the Corvette showcase is located on a 60-acre campus. Most recognize the property by the large, circular car salon encased by a yellow conical roof. High above this is a red, 12-story spire. This structure, certainly a landmark in Bowling Green, is known as the "Skydome".
