Upcoming Moonshadow Festival in Abita Springs

    2021-08-30

ABITA SPRINGS, LA - Celebrate Labor Day weekend with Moonshadow Festival, a festival of art, music, and wellness. The event will be held on September 4 and 5, 2021, and takes place at Abita Springs Be & Be, 75368 Moonshadow Lane.

The festival is organized by A. Glantz, a nonprofit organization that helps many artistic communities, such as local musicians, production companies, venues, and community vendors in the Greater New Orleans area.

Moonshadow Festival focuses on wellness with many programs promoting healthy wellbeing. Some of them are yoga classes, motivational seminars, propagation workshops, and more. Independent artists are taking part in the festival as well, providing installations, live painting, and projection mapping performances.

Various artists from New Orleans will perform at the festival, from 12 p.m on Saturday to 9 p.m. Sunday. A detailed schedule will be announced later. Classic New Orleans’ dishes and specialized food will be available at food vendors, as well as a bazaar market. Attendees are allowed to bring alcohol as no alcohol will be sold at the venue.

The admission tickets vary. A day pass is available at $45 each. An $85 ticket is available for two days, plus full festival access, camping, and a car pass. Another option is renting an RV for two days and one night at $1,200, which includes four tickets. VIP grounds will be opened at 9 a.m. on Saturday. You can purchase the tickets here https://moonshadow.norby.live/.

Before entering the festival, everyone has to take a rapid Covid test for $20. Another test will be required if you leave the ground and have to re-enter. Masks are optional. The organizer provides many sanitization places, as well as ensures social distancing.

You can register yourself as a volunteer at the event and get free entry to the festival. Sponsorships are available as well. For more information email ashley@a-glantz.org.
