The expectation at Destrehan is always the game: To reach the Ceasars Superdome with the chance to win a football state championship. Bridge's history of race crimes resurfaces after dedication to Vietnam War hero
A bridge renamed after a local war hero harbors a nearly century old dark past. Two young Black men were hanged for alleged crimes, and one lived to tell the tale.
