Louisiana wins 4-H Shooting Sports national championship
Victoria McClung of Bossier City won the small-bore rifle category in the Louisiana 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships held June 23-28 in Grand Island, Neb. McClung helped the Louisiana 4-H Shooting Sports Team win its fourth championship in the last five years. That includes a second-place finish last year and the event being canceled due to COVID restrictions in 2020.

Last month, Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry (R) signed a bill mandating that a copy of the Ten Commandments be displayed in all public school classrooms in Louisiana.
