    JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A woman was charged with two felonies on Monday after she was accused of stealing 225 iPhones from a Jefferson City storage unit on April 6.

Lisa Mae Burkhart, of Jefferson City, was charged with second-degree burglary and stealing more than $750. She is being held at the Cole County Jail without bond. A court date has not been scheduled.

According to the probable cause statement, representatives for the victim reported on April 8 that 225 iPhones were stolen from a storage unit at 10 Federal Storage in the 2600 block of Industrial Drive.

Security footage allegedly showed a woman matching Burkhart’s description enter the unit with a bag on April 6, court documents say. The footage allegedly showed Burkhart walking out of the facility with the bag fuller than it was earlier, the statement says.

Court documents say Burkhart sold five of the phones at ecoATMs for cash. EcoATMs are automated kiosks that give money for old smartphones and tablets, according to the company’s website.

Burkhart was allegedly found using an iPhone and she claimed she had received 10 phones and either sold them at ecoATMs or gave them away, according to the probable cause statement. Burkhart allegedly denied taking the iPhones from the storage unit.
