Tennessee baseball signee Anson Seibert will make it to campus and not sign professionally with the Detroit Tigers, the Johnson County Post first reported. The Tigers selected Seibert, top rated signee in Tennessee baseball’s highly touted 2024 signing class, in the 16th round of the 2024 MLB Draft last week. However, the right-handed pitcher still plans on playing college baseball at Tennessee while postponing his professional career.
Dollywood hosting hiring events for seasonal workers
PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Dollywood announced Tuesday that the theme park is looking to hire for seasonal positions ahead of the fall and Christmas seasons. The theme park will be hosting several hiring events ahead of its Harvest Festival and Smoky Mountain Christmas events. Joyce Watkins is the featured speaker at back-to-back events hosted by the Tennessee Innocence Project, a nonprofit organization that focuses on exonerating people who've been convicted of a crime they never committed.
