Four homes were evacuated in all. No structures were lost, but one home was threatened.A pre-evacuation notice was sent to a 3-5 mile radius from where the fire started in the 4200 block of Bear Road.The evacuations and pre-evacuation notice have been lifted. JCSO said the fire is not expected to grow, and crews will monitor it overnight and into Sunday.Golden Gate Canyon Road was closed from Highway 93 to Crawford Gulch Road.
