State Supreme Court hears arguments in lawsuit against Jefferson County Board of Education
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky Supreme Court heard arguments in a case between Attorney General Russell Coleman’s office and the Jefferson County Board of Education. The hearing focused on three issues. 25-year-old man identified as victim of fatal 5-vehicle crash on I-64 in eastern Jefferson County
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 25-year-old man was killed in a five-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on Interstate 64 in eastern Jefferson County. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Tuesday that Colton Tanner died of blunt force trauma around 4:30 p.m. Monday. Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis said, based on information from witnesses, police believe traffic in the westbound lanes had slowed due to heavy congestion and construction. A semitruck approaching the slowed traffic in the center lane hit a pickup truck, causing a chain reaction with five vehicles involved and damaged, Ellis said.
