Man caught with child porn after approaching children sentenced to 11 years in prison
U.S. District Judge Ronnie L. White on Wednesday sentenced a man caught with child pornography after approaching children in Kirkwood to 11 years in prison. On April 12, 2022, Kirkwood Police Department officers were investigating allegations that Darrell Ray Sanders had approached children on the street. They identified Sanders as a person of interest and arrested him. At the police station, he admitted to having child pornography on his cell phone. Investigators found images and videos containing child sexual abuse material on two cell phones belonging to Sanders.

DITTMER, Mo. — A woman drowned on Sunday at a Jefferson County summer camp for people with developmental disabilities, authorities said. A spokesperson for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said emergency crews responded to Sunnyhill at 6555 Sunlit Way in Dittmer, where they found 44-year-old Martha Boland unresponsive in a pool.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A doctor and two employees in Jefferson County have been accused of illegally prescribing controlled substances and health care fraud. According to a release, Dr. David Parks, 66, James Bilderback, 58, both of Jefferson County, and Michelle Scheer, 43, of St. Louis, were each indicted on a charge of conspiracy to illegally prescribe controlled substances and five counts of illegal prescribing of a controlled substance. Parks and Bilderback were also indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud, eight counts of illegal prescribing of a controlled substance, and 15 counts of making false statements related to health care matters.
