Charged: Shawn M. Cunningham, 58, Matthew, N.C., fugitive from justice, Tuesday. Sex for hire: Nine individuals were booked into the Jefferson County Jail on charges they solicited sex acts at an Oregon Avenue location, Tuesday. Facing charges are: Ronald E. DiCarlo Jr., 57, Mingo Junction; Shawn M. Anderson, 40, Follansbee; Casandra M. Sabo, 35, St. Clairsville; Jacob J. Canterbury, 52, Follansbee; Eric H. Coleman, 49, Wheeling; Morgan A. Aracich, 30, Wellsburg; Michael D. Virgin, 36, Whiteoak, Pa.; and Sean S. Finsley, 45, Weirton. All nine were charged with possession of criminal tools in addition to solicitation, police said. At least six of the arrests were made in the 1600 block of Oregon Avenue. No further details were available.

The Jefferson County Task Force said they executed a narcotics-related search warrant on Madison Avenue in Toronto Ohio. At the residence, Joseph Woodland, age 36, was arrested without incident.

TORONTO — A Toronto man is facing a felony drug charge after authorities allegedly found roughly 21 grams of methamphetamine and other drug-related materials in his home. Jefferson County Drug Task Force Commander Capt. John Lemal said Joseph A. Woodland, 36, 1420 Madison Ave., was booked into the Jefferson County Jail after officers executed a narcotics search warrant at his home Friday.
