Jefferson County indictments, week of July 10

A Jefferson County grand jury indicted a number of individuals on crimes ranging from evading arrest to assault of a peace officer.

• Destiny Angello, 30, of Beaumont was indicted for obstruction or retaliation for an incident that occurred May 6.
• Andrew Christopher Barnett, 35, of Port Neches was indicted for injury involving serous bodily injury that occurred April 14.
• Charles Henry Darling, 46, of Beaumont was indicted for stalking for an incident that occurred April 11.
• Carlee Elizabeth Davis, 36, of Groves was indicted for driving while intoxicated third of more for an incident that occurred May 6, 2023.
• Felicia R. Freddie, 40, of Beaumont was indicted for evading arrest detention with vehicle for an incident that occurred June 6.
• Derrick A. Johnson, 27, of Beaumont was indicted for taking weapon from an officer for an incident that occurred May 29.
• Derrick A. Johnson, 27, of Beaumont was indicted for hinder apprehension or prosecution known felon for an incident that occurred May 29.
• Javaughn Rayshund Joubert, 18, of Port Arthur was indicted for assault peace officer/judge for an incident that occurred June 3.
• Charles W. Kerr, 37, of Beaumont was indicted for assault peace officer/judge for an incident that occurred May 24.
• Darren Dwayne Lamb, 44, of Port Arthur was indicted for driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years of age for an incident that occurred Aug. 4, 2022.
• Rogelio Martinez Rivera, 37, of Beaumont was indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for an incident that occurred June 5.
• David lee Mullins, 55, of Orange was indicted for solicit prostitute/other payor for an incident that occurred May 28.
• Mark Anthony Nixon, 51, of Beaumont was indicted for unlawful possession of firearm by felon for an incident that cured March 20, 2023.
• Santiago Damian Reyes, 24, of Port Arthur was indicted for evading arrest detention with vehicle for an incident that occurred May 24.
• Billy Ray Ross, 62, of Nederland was indicted for unlawful possession of firearm by felon for an incident that occurred May 15.
• Carlos Valerio III, 41, of Beaumont was indicted or assault peace officer/judge for an incident that occurred May 26.
• Trevontae I.J. Veal, 29, of Beaumont was indicted for attempt t commit assault peace officer/judge for an incident that occurred June 2.
• Jaden Worlds, 19, of Beaumont was indicted for evading arrest detention with vehicle for an incident that occurred May 13.
• Kevin Lawshawn Young, 40, of Port Arthur was indicted for assault family/household member impede breathing/circulation for an incident that occurred June 5.
