11 July 2024- Seventeen people have pled guilty to drug distribution charges following an investigation into a Baltimore-based trafficking organization. United States Attorney William Ihlenfeld announced that since an indictment was returned in January against Gary Brown, Jr. and eighty-one others, many of those charged in the conspiracy have admitted to their role in an operation that caused substantial amounts of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine to be distributed in Berkeley and Jefferson Counties.
