The number of overdoses is up 117% for the Indigenous population and 139% for Black people. Overdoses increased 53% among white people during the same timeframe.

BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae Head Cross Country/Track & Field Coach Ley Fletcher announced this year's men's and women's cross country schedules. The Bobcats begin their season on Aug. 30 at the Covered Bridge Run, hosted by App State. Seth Curry is returning to the Hornets on a one-year deal, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN tweets. The signing is official, according to a Hornets press release. Curry, who turns 34 next month, was waived by Charlotte last month before his $4M salary for next season became guaranteed.
