Full Riot Fest Schedule Released!
We knew the dates, the location and when the headliners were playing. Now we have the rest of the schedule for Riot Fest taking place at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview!. Friday features Fall Out Boy as the headliner, with shows from the Offspring, Public Enemy, Sum 41, Cypress Hill (who just performed with the London Symphony Orchestra), New Found Glory and NOFX.
New OP chief sustainability officer to begin July 29
Oak Park has hired a new chief sustainability officer, Lindsey Roland Nieratka, after the role has been vacant for about eight months. Marcella Bondie Keenan previously held the role, starting in March 2023. She was originally hired as a sustainability coordinator for the village in August 2021. Her last day as chief sustainability officer was Nov. 10, 2023, according to village officials.

Man killed in Lower Wacker hit-and-run, Chicago police searching for driver of semi-truck
A man was killed while walking in Downtown on Wednesday night, Chicago police said.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. CTA bus rider stabbed during West Side robbery
CHICAGO - A CTA bus rider was stabbed during a robbery Wednesday night in Chicago's West Garfield Park neighborhood.
