The Logan Square Chamber of Commerce’s street pole banner program launched this year to promote businesses, officials said. Edison Park Grocery Store At Former Happy Foods Could Open This Year
EDISON PARK — The grocery store and cafe filling the closed Happy Foods in Edison Park could open before the end of the year, the owner said. EP Market is taking over the space at 6783 N. Northwest Highway, which has sat empty for almost two years. The family-owned market will include a cafe, bakery and taqueria, co-owner Eduardo Haro said. The store will offer a wide- range of groceries and prepared foods that “really cater to the neighborhood,” said Chris Vittorio, chief of staff for Ald. Anthony Napolitano (41st).
