An Ocean County man has been arrested in connection to a fatal stabbing early Friday morning. Louis Gargiso of Jackson Twp., NJ, charged with murder. Prosecutors say 38-year-old Louis Gargiso of Jackson Township has been charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Human Resources Center celebrates American Legion donation
The Human Resources Center, Inc. (HRC) recently announced the successful completion of a new garden at the Pike Building located at 117 Pike County Blvd., Hawley, made possible by a donation from The American Legion Post 139 of Milford. This project, led by James Percicas, was officially unveiled last Friday during a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a luncheon to honor and thank the benefactors.

Three Pacers Named to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll
Northborough, Mass. – Three Marywood University student-athletes were named to the 2024 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll. Kate Kollar-Dye, Tori Wilson and Kortney Harry were each selected to the honor roll for the first time in their careers. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

(WHTM)– An uncorrected proof copy of the first book in famous author J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series is hitting the auction block. Heritage Auctions said the pre-bidding is currently underway for the copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, but the live auction starts tomorrow at the Historical Platinum event hosted by Heritage Auctions in Dallas.
