Annual Jewish Food Festival kicks off in Scranton

The four-day festival celebrates Jewish ethnic food and shares Jewish culture with people across NEPA. The festival also aims to unite people based on their cultural similarities rather than differences.

SCRANTON, Pa. — A beloved food festival returned to part of Lackawanna County on Sunday. The Jewish Discovery Center's Jewish Food Festival kicked off at Nay Aug Park in Scranton. Stuffed cabbage, knishes, falafel, and funnel cakes are just a few of the many foods offered at the festival.
