James Everett Wilson, 85, of Wyboo, South Carolina and formerly of Mountain Top, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Emmanuel Center for Nursing in Danville, Pennsylvania. SCRANTON, Pa. - Court today granted a rule to show cause why the entire school board of Scranton should not be ousted from office. The rule was made returnable August 7. The petition for the ousting of the board members was presented by district Attorney Harold A. Scragg upon the recommendations of the members of the grand jury.
